The screen, design, and reliability of this device. I’ve been using it day and night for 1.5 years. It has never let me down. This model had a lot of defects; I don’t envy those who were unlucky. The drawbacks are more related not to the model itself, but to the fact that Android is still a system that requires numerous improvements. The same applies to the MIUI interface. The phone is decent, but far from perfect. In my opinion, it’s better to get the regular Mi 9, although it has a camera notch. The price is a bit too high. Bezelless design, color reproduction, battery life, rear camera. The front camera is mechanical, so it takes too long to activate, and the phone has no water resistance. In terms of price and performance, Xiaomi's Mi9 line of smartphones looks extremely interesting. The Mi 9T is practically a flagship model with powerful hardware (Snapdragon 730 + 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage), a full feature set and a price tag of just under $400.
retractable camera
The main feature of Mi 9T is a completely frameless AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.4". The front camera was made retractable, as was already the case in some Vivo and Huawei models. It works quickly and has protection against accidental drops and damage. According to the passport, the mechanism must withstand up to 300,000 opening and closing cycles.
Quality display and triple camera
The frameless display itself visually looks very good, does not fade in the sun, boasts rich colours, high contrast and HDR support. According to subjective feelings, the quality here is no worse than displays in more expensive flagship models from competitors. The same can be said about the excellent triple camera, which shoots almost at the level of much more expensive camera phones like the Huawei P30.
Fingerprint scanner built into the display
Among other features of the smartphone, we highlight the traditional for this class NFC chip for contactless payments, a capacious 4000 mAh battery with fast charging and a nice back cover made of impact-resistant textured glass. Each colour scheme has its own texture: the black model has a “back” that looks like it is made of carbon, and in the blue colour the cover shimmers in the sun like a sapphire. The only downside of the Mi 9T is the in-display fingerprint scanner. On the one hand, this option is more convenient than the scanner on the back cover, on the other hand, it does not work so quickly and sometimes sticks for a few seconds.
Excellent value for money.
