Compact mirrorless camera with a focus on video recording. The camera is aimed at convenient vlogging. It records video in a maximum resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels) with a frame rate of up to 30 fps. The crop factor of the image is 1.2x. Shooting 4K video on the mirrorless camera without a crop is expected at a lower frame rate of 24 fps. The model records Full HD videos with a frame rate of up to 240 fps.

The operator has access to S-Log3 and HLG gamma curve profiles. The Sony ZV-E10 kit is equipped with a directional three-channel microphone with a furry windscreen, a touchscreen with selfie position, a zoom lever around the shutter button — everything for comfortable video shooting. The model supports interchangeable lenses. However, there is no matrix stabilization on the camera, so operators are encouraged to use stabilized lenses, fortunately, there are plenty available for the Sony E system.

The heart of the mirrorless camera is a 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor with a sensitivity range from 100 to 32,000 ISO. The autofocus system of the model is hybrid, it relies on 425 focus points. In the place where the viewfinder is usually located on the camera body, there is a hot shoe for connecting auxiliary accessories such as on-camera lights or digital microphones. After several months of using the Sony ZV-E10, I can confidently say that it is one of the best choices for video and photography enthusiasts. I was looking for a compact yet powerful camera, and this model truly impresses. It is incredibly user-friendly, and I didn't expect the functionality to be as strong as that of professional cameras.

First of all, it's worth noting the excellent image quality. The camera shoots incredibly clear video, and its large sensor provides excellent depth of field, which is very important for creating professional content. The convenient swivel screen is a real find for selfies and shooting from various angles — it allows you to capture even complex shots without the need for assistance.

Another big plus is the microphone. The camera features a built-in high-quality microphone that perfectly captures sound without the need for additional accessories, although you can connect an external microphone for better results. Shooting in 4K is also impressive — the picture is very clear and vibrant, with no interference or noise.

As for the drawbacks, there are a few points. The camera heats up quite quickly when shooting in 4K, which limits the time for continuous shooting. Also, the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, so it's better to have a spare battery on hand for long shoots.

better to look for something else

Previously, I used to shoot videos for my YouTube channel on an iPhone. The channel is growing, and there is now an opportunity to improve video quality by purchasing a Sony camera.
After watching numerous videos on choosing a camera for a blogger, I bought the ZV-E10.
On the third day after purchase, I took my first test photos/videos.
A constantly hot pixel is visible at ISO from 3000 to 8000. The "sensor remapping" procedure doesn't help.
To put it in understandable terms, a starry sky on the sensor appears at high ISO and exposure. This is in the photos.
As for the video. More time is needed for testing.
