Good to know:

Dust protection system
To combat dust, Sony has created a unique double protection system. This system combines a protective coating on your DSLR's CCD sensor that keeps out dust, and a mechanism that gently shakes the sensor when the camera is turned off to remove any dust trapped in the body.

AF-assist beam
Proper focus and composition is extremely difficult to achieve in low or no light conditions. When shooting in any lighting condition, from bright daylight to complete darkness, the AF-assist illuminator automatically illuminates the subject to ensure the camera focuses accurately. This guarantees a sharply focused image with clear contours, regardless of lighting conditions.

SteadyShot INSIDE
Sony's unique stabilization technology for Handycam® camcorders, Cyber-shot digital cameras and DSLRs uses a shake detection method (via gyro sensors). The result (blur reduction) is equally good on all cameras, but each of them has a slightly different technology.
