Stylish and compact

Seagate's One Touch is, by a combination of factors, a unique SSD of its kind. First, it is tiny, smaller than the average smartphone and closer in size to a credit card. Secondly, it looks original. The case itself is white, and its upper part is covered with a pleasant to the touch canvas fabric, which is decorated with an acid camouflage pattern. Of course, this design is not for everyone, but it looks clearly more interesting than most similar external SSDs and HDDs. Every second one is either grey or black.

stable speed

The results of the speed measurements were impressive. 419 Mbps read, 404 Mbps write: that's what CrystalDiskMark measured for sequential copy operations. In fact, when the data transfer is non-linear and the speed usually sags several times, One Touch gave out a stable 108 MB / s when recording several 4K movies and 235 MB / s when copying a large archive from the internal SSD. I especially liked that the baby did not start to slip when filling the cache and kept the marathon distance in the same rhythm. The 22 GB version of Alita: Battle Angel was copied to this flash drive in 57 seconds.

Fast and inexpensive

Obviously, Seagate did not stint on high-quality NAND memory and a good controller, so it is able to run on a par with conventional internal SSDs operating on the SATA bus. In other pluses of the model, you can record a strap sticking out of the end with the company logo, which can be used as a loop for attaching to a carabiner and bonus subscriptions to Adobe Creative Cloud software packages. Well, the most interesting thing is that, having the usual high speed indicators for SSDs, One Touch is cheaper than most competitors.
