One of the largest curved Ultra HD monitors on the market. This is a model from the Chinese company MMD, which owns the rights to the Philips Monitors brand. The monitor is designed for professional use in areas requiring high resolution with a large diagonal. He received a 40-inch screen with a bending radius of 3000 mm. Such curvilinearity is eliminated by distortions that occur in the corners of wide-screen panels located at a close distance from the user and due to the peculiarities of the human visual apparatus. The screen resolution is 3840x2160, therefore, despite the size of the diagonal, the detail is high, and the pixel density is 110 ppi or 43 pixels / cm. The Philips BDM4037UW monitor screen is based on a high-quality 10-bit (using the FRC method) MVA matrix from TP Vision, equ...ipped with Flicker Free LED backlighting. Such a matrix, capable of working with a 30-bit palette, provides improved colour reproduction and is able to correctly display subtle colour transitions. In addition, it has a high maximum brightness of 300 cd / m², a static contrast ratio of 4000: 1 significantly improved compared to IPS panels and high comfortable viewing angles of 178 degrees. The low response time (4ms GtG) and Overdrive function allows this screen to correctly and clearly display dynamic video content. There are also two broadband stereo speakers with a power of 5 W each and a 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Connection is made using 2 Display Port 1.2 ports, 2 HDMI connectors (1.4 and 2.0 standard, both with MHL support) or an analogue D-Sub VGA port (not capable of transmitting a full 4K video signal).
