A wide-angle, f/4.0 zoom lens specifically designed for digital SLR cameras. The lens does not have a standard aperture ring (the aperture is controlled from the camera), it is equipped with a mechanism for quickly switching focus modes AM / MF ("Quick-Shift Focus System"). Thanks to the use of one glass element with ultra-low scattering coefficient (ED) and two aspherical elements (AL), providing extremely accurate colour reproduction and high image quality.When used with PENTAX digital cameras, the lens provides a range of focal lengths from ultra-wide angle 16mm to standard 45mm (equivalent to 24.5mm~69mm in 35mm format).
