Chinese vs Global Smartphone Versions: What’s the Difference? We'll explore the dangers of skimping on a Chinese smartphone and whether it makes sense.
Model overview based on user reviews
The OnePlus 9 Pro 256 GB / 8 GB is a flagship smartphone that stands out with its excellent camera quality, offering high-quality photos and videos enhanced by Hasselblad collaboration. It features a high-quality display with 2K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support, making it one of the best screens on the market. The device supports fast charging, allowing significant battery replenishment in a short time, which is very convenient for users on the go. The phone delivers smooth performance thanks to its Snapdragon 888 processor and 120Hz refresh rate, although some users have reported heating issues during intensive tasks. The design is elegant and premium, with high-quality build materials, and the stereo speakers provide excellent sound quality. While the battery life is decent, lasting a full day with active use, some users have noted that it is not the best in its class. Additionally, there are some software bugs and issues with face unlocking, but the reliable fingerprint scanner offers a solid alternative. Overall, the OnePlus 9 Pro is a top-tier smartphone that offers a comprehensive set of features for a premium user experience.

An absolute flagship without any doubt. Suitable for absolutely everyone.

The phone is amazing. I didn't expect this level of quality. I switched to it from a somewhat old Samsung Galaxy S8, which was the best flagship of its time. The camera got a +10lvl; I still sometimes can't believe the photos and videos you can get with this smartphone. You can create masterpieces in any lighting if you know what you're doing. There is excellent built-in photo retouching, which I recommend using. You can drastically enhance photos. There are also color filters that fundamentally change the capture algorithms, not just colors. If you're capturing faces, shoot in soft mode. The sound, screen, tactile feedback from the vibration, connectivity—all at the highest possible level. Fast charging is the reason I'll never buy an iPhone, which lacks this marvel. 120hz with variable refresh rate is a game-changer. In short, get it, you won't regret it. By the end of 2021, this phone definitely ranks in the top 5 best smartphones of the year.
1. The camera is top-notch. A qualitatively new level. Both photos and videos are at the highest level.
2. Definitely one of the best screens; on this phone, I've seen colors whose existence I wasn't even aware of.
3. Smooth performance. 120Hz + a powerful processor and optimization are noticeable.
4. The design is quite respectable. I have it in black, and it's one of the best black colors in smartphones.
5. The processor allows you to play anything that comes to mind.
6. The stereo speakers are at a very high level.
7. Fast charging. You can completely forget about worries of your phone dying at the most inconvenient moment. Literally, in 10 minutes while you're having a cup of tea, you can charge the phone enough to last for 5 hours for sure. Awesome.
There are no obvious drawbacks for which this phone isn't worth buying, but there are a few minor issues.
1. The battery isn't the best in its class. It lasts for a day, but doesn't have fantastic performance.
2. There are a few firmware bugs. For example, YouTube continues playing a second after pressing pause. This can persist until you press pause three times. After recording video at the highest settings or other demanding tasks, when returning to the main home screen, the phone may take a few seconds to load app icons.
3. The zoom camera doesn't match the high standard of this phone, although on its own it's not bad at all.

Quality assembly, camera, battery, Fast Charge, and interface
11 January 2022
OnePlus - One of the best flagships on the market. I've been following it since the 7th generation, it's quite impressive. A flagship that does not follow trends like iPhone (which stopped including the power cable in the box). A worthy competitor to other flagships.
Basically, that's it. The phone impressed me, but there are drawbacks that I discussed below. The camera is really good (Samsung and iPhone pale in comparison). The amazing 4500 mAh battery and equally amazing Fast Charge (You come home, put the phone on charge, go for a 20-minute tea break, and when you return, you already have at least 50%), opens up so many possibilities. Finally, you can use maximum brightness without worrying about the battery. Very pleasant OneUI, which is much nicer than Samsung's standard interface. The glass is of incredible quality, very smooth to the touch (it's a pleasure to slide your finger across the surface), HasselBlad did a good job.
The only disappointment was the protective film that was directly applied to the phone, which tore in the second week of use (I'm sure I just got a defective one). I don't understand people who say it heats up while gaming, because mobile games are completely bottom-tier. Many people who use phones like this are not interested in games.

The phone is not bad but has its drawbacks.
15 December 2021
The phone is good at a cost of 48k. When it entered the market, it cost about 100k, and it is clear that many are dissatisfied with it, it clearly does not reach 100k. Many bugs went away with the update, which is good news. Everyone says that it has flexible customization settings, but nothing too unusual can be implemented on MIUI, I think more.
Screen, vibration, form factor, flagship, ip68, video recording, laser autofocus.
Battery. I take a lot of photographs and took it as a camera phone, and there won’t be any really good photos without dancing with a tambourine. We are talking about Hasselblend, they say the matrix was set up by these comrades and again BUT their settings only work in pro mode and if you have time to tinker with a DSLR, then the photos will be bomb. in pitch darkness with ISO turned up to maximum and shutter speed 30 s. capable of taking detailed photos. and the minus is the automatic post-processing by the phone itself. It feels like the camera is sucking all the power from the 888. I took a picture, processing is in progress and at this time the smart watch comes unstuck (fortunately it quickly connects again). You close the camera with a gesture and see the phone freeze for 1-2 seconds. and this is 888 snap and the camera is original... probably a bug.
