A relatively affordable and high-quality gaming monitor with a 27-inch screen, an increased vertical frequency, a stylish thin-bezel design and support for AMD FreeSync technology. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category of 2018 from the MSI Arsenal Gaming family of gaming devices. Due to the combination of technical characteristics, it will suit ordinary PC gaming enthusiasts and novice e-sportsmen.

It is based on a full-fledged 8-bit VA-matrix with W-LED backlight and a resolution of 1920x1080. It provides extended colour gamut (118% sRGB, 92% DCI P3), excellent 3000:1 static contrast ratio, good maximum brightness level (up to 300 cd/m2) and comfortable vertical/horizontal viewing angles. Response time compensation technology guarantees a minimum pixel switching time of 1 ms (Moving Picture Response Time technique).

The combination of a fast matrix with a high vertical frequency (165 Hz) and a low input lag (less than 4 ms) allows the MSI Optix MAG271R monitor to display enhanced image clarity in the most dynamic gaming scenes, while AMD FreeSync technology prevents frame tearing (tearing). Removable stand provides adjustment of the screen height and angle. There is a built-in hub for two USB 2.0, HDMI v2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 ports are used to connect to the signal source.
