I recommend it for a budget build with room for an upgrade Convenient BIOS (who doesn’t think so, sit on 775), cold VRM (42 degrees after 45 minutes of stress test), holds the Ryzen 5 2600 perfectly, at full load the voltage is only 1.13-1.17V. Memory is racing i got it from an old batch with f51 bios, so 5xxx Ryzen will not start out of the box. But it will take 2 minutes to flash the case. F61 5xxx supports  xeon inside: use Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE less than month |
Bought a motherboard. It arrived working, everything's fine. The BIOS version at the time of purchase was F51. Software from gigabytes, temperatures, appearance.. 1) Demanding on RAM (I had sticks running at 3200, it seemed to start fine with XMP, but then weird things started happening, every 5th boot or so I got a blue screen with a memory error... Thought I would have to return it to the store, but it turned out I just needed to update the BIOS to the latest version and everything was fine). Updating the BIOS is not complicated, just insert a flash drive and it's done... It was more my fault for not updating right away. 2) Possible price 3) Large VRM cover (plastic) 4) The 24-pin connectors were quite tight but I didn't break the board) |
