Low-noise modification of the Pop housing from the popular brand Fractal Design. The case received soundproofing of the main covers (side, front and top), which will make the operation of the computer system quieter than ever. Additionally, this model uses special low-speed fans Aspect 12, only three turntables with a diameter of 120 mm. Thanks to all this, the PC will not be distracting with an irritable hum. Another interesting feature of the system unit is the presence of a hidden connector at the bottom of the front cover. A magnetic cover hides a slot for two 5.25″ drives, which can be adapted to store various devices. The Fractal Design Pop Silent computer case is equipped with a blank front cover. The front air intake is represented by a mesh insert on the end of the front panel. At...the same time, the platform allows you to replace the front impellers with a 280 mm liquid cooling radiator. Another 120mm water radiator can be installed at the rear. The chassis is well compatible with ATX size motherboards. To accommodate the power supply there is a lower compartment covered with a perforated casing. This enclosure is available with either a tempered glass viewing side or a blank metal cover.

Nephew of the Fractal Design Define Corps

At the beginning of the new decade, the eminent Scandinavian manufacturer of computer chassis Fractal Design launched an unusual line of Pop cases. The unusual idea was to try to make affordable premium cases, albeit with some reservations. The Swedish designers took the popular Fractal Design Define chassis as a basis, after which they tried to unobtrusively simplify and reduce the cost, while maintaining the brand identity. The hero of this review, the Pop Silent case is the most popular and interesting option in the new series.

Stylish and quiet

As you might guess from the name, in the Pop Silent version, the emphasis is on high-quality soundproofing of the case. With a hollow front panel, soundproof mats, noise-absorbing pads, and three silent case fans, the Aspect 12 chassis effectively dampens the hum of case fans, a powerful power supply, and a three-section graphics card. The other side of the coin is the low ventilation of the case, so it will look most appropriate when assembling a silent workstation, a mid-range gaming PC, or a powerful gaming machine with an emphasis on liquid cooling.

Ready for builds of systems of almost any level

Given the interesting pedigree, it is not surprising that the Pop chassis is distinguished by high quality workmanship, thoughtful layout and the brand's traditional minimalist approach to visual design. The two-tier structure allows you to place the power supply with drives at the bottom, and leave the main area for the motherboard, video card and other components, as well as case fans or water pumps. As befits a high-level chassis, it is equipped with a transparent viewing panel, dust filters, a window for installing a Cooling system processor and a hidden wire-drawing system.
