Cases from the Meshify series are timeless classics that have evolved to the latest standards and cutting-edge technologies. This is a mid-sized Midi Tower case featuring an adaptive chassis interior. The platform makes it possible to use the motherboard of the older E-ATX format (length up to 285 mm). There is a vertical PCIe output for installing powerful and performant dual-slot graphics.
The maximum length of the graphics card is 491mm, and with front fans and without HDD rack it is 467mm. CPU cooling height can reach 185mm. The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Dark TG computer case is distinguished by the presence of a viewing sidewall made of well-tinted glass. Through such glass only the illumination of internal components will be visible. The standard cooling system is implemented by 3 Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans.
The speed of the impellers can be controlled via the Nexus+ controller built into the housing. The front panel is represented by a continuous ventilation duct made of deeply corrugated metal mesh. The interface panel received: two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type C port, mini-Jack audio jacks, power and restart buttons. The lower casing, behind which the mounting place for the power supply is hidden, is removable. Numerous guides with reusable Hook-and-loop fasteners are provided for cable routing.

Installing a radiator in front limits you in choosing a video card; when installing a fat radiator with fans, some may not fit. cards. Installing a radiator from above is immediately a limitation in choosing a motherboard, any normal motherboard with a plastic casing in the VRM zone will not work for you, it will rest against the radiator. Any radiator thicker than 32mm on top will rest against the motherboard shroud. RAM also needs to be carefully chosen in this case. Memory with a heatsink height above 36mm cannot be installed if the heatsink is on top. As for me, for simple systems, there are cases much cheaper. Such a body is taken for custom water or when installing large water coolers. And this is exactly the problem. . This is very poorly thought out. There were also difficulties with the installation of some power supplies. The case is designed for the installation of a "standard ATX block". All power supplies, in which the lower grille of the block protrudes slightly by 1-2 mm outside the PSU case, will not fit into this case. You need to look for power supplies with recessed grilles in the PSU case. It is not clear what prevented making the holes for installing the PSU 3 mm larger. The dust filters are well done everywhere except in the front. There is a door on the front, but it is impossible to get the filter completely without removing the door. Plenty of room for cable management, good ventilation, good build quality Not thought out. CBO support is indicated in front up to 360 mm and from above up to 420, but this is not true. Not every CBO or radiator will fit front and top, no more than a 32 mm radiator on top and 40 mm on the front. Not every video card will fit here. Up to 435 mm and less. Difficulties with installing some PSUs. When installing a CBO radiator, RAM will only fit up to 36 mm from above. |
