A compact case with good sound insulation, positioned by the manufacturer in the middle price segment. The case is lined with blank panels with a special sound-absorbing layer. Thanks to this, the computer assembly will not be annoyed by the noise that memory drives and the cooling system generate. The platform received a motherboard tray compatible with micro-ATX and mini-ITX solutions.
At the same time, the chassis allows you to complete the assembly with a full-sized CPU cooling tower - up to 170 mm. The opening for the video card has a length of 340 mm. The Fractal Design Pop Mini Silent Black Solid computer case boasts a workspace that is comfortable enough for powerful and hot hardware. The chassis area is blown by branded fans with Trip Wire technology. The factory equipment includes three 120 mm turntables from the Aspect series.
Regular coolers provide efficient heat dissipation under the condition of almost silent operation. This model features easy access to the main 3.5″ hard drive cage. The HDD rack is located at the bottom of the front panel, just behind the removable cover. The upper part of the front panel is represented by a blind cover with a ventilation channel on the side. This is a comfortable and absolutely quiet case, with which the computer system can reach a new level of performance.
Noise absorption
Fractal Design Pop Mini Silent Solid is a compact yet very heavy 6.2 kg computer case. The reason for this is the all-metal construction without glass, and even with a noise-absorbing layer of side panels. Even the top panel is blank without mesh, which is atypical for most modern cases.
Screw thread
Accommodates mid-size Micro-ATX motherboard and video card up to 340mm long. The processor tower fits up to 170 mm high, but the power supply only up to 150 mm. Some 850+W modular PSUs may not fit. However, if you remove the basket for two 3.5-inch drives, then there will be more space for the PSU. Three proprietary FD Aspect 12 turntables are pre-installed with an improved screw thread bearing.
Secret door
And at the bottom of the front panel there is a secret drawer with a magnetic door for storing small computer accessories. Also, the Pop series of the Swedish brand Fractal Design includes full-size cases for ATX motherboards, well-visible glass and even better ventilated mesh models, in black or white to choose from.
