Full set
The kit includes everything you need to install the CBO under any motherboard platform, as well as mounting bolts for installing the radiator on the case and RGB tape. If the motherboard does not have a connector for connecting RGB strips, an RGB controller is included in the kit. There is also a splitter for four fans, which allows you to connect them to one 4-pin port on the motherboard to control the rotational speed.

The aluminium two-section radiator is based on 14 flat channels between which 13 rows of corrugated tape are soldered. This is a typical heat dissipator for unattended water heaters. There are four fan slots on the radiator, but only two 120mm fans are included in the kit, if desired and there is enough space in the case, two 120mm fans can also be added. The Deepcool Game Storm TF120 fan model consists of nine slotted blades and an unusual aerodynamic shape. Apparently, such a solution should reduce turbulence and, as a result, the noise level.
Nothing extra
The copper base on the pump, the so-called contact pad, is well polished and has a layer of thermal paste already applied. The inner side of the copper base is a microchannel structure. The pump and radiator are connected by rubber hoses in a fabric (nylon) sheath for an aesthetic appearance and less wear.
Reactor
The pump is made in a form somewhat reminiscent of a reactor, with an L-shaped glass tube through which the liquid flow can be observed. Ceramic bearing inside. The base is completely copper. The micro-channel structure that has become the standard for CBOs is used, providing maximum contact with water for rapid heat dissipation.

Findings. CBO Deepcool CAPTAIN 240 EX RGB is designed to work with processors, the heat dissipation of which does not exceed 150 W. This water cooling system is quite simple to install and effectively handles with hot processors during overclocking, and is also compatible with all current processor sockets. The workmanship is good and the refrigerant can be replaced if necessary in the future.
