Dual-section liquid cooling system with classic RGB lighting, which is part of the 2020 MSI MAG product line. In MSI's dropsy hierarchy, this model belongs to the entry level and is designed for gamers and enthusiasts who are looking for a high-quality, efficient and not too expensive cooling system without unnecessary bells and whistles. MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R is an all-in-one type CBO made according to Aestek references, when the radiator with fans and the liquid block with refrigerant are already prepared for assembly and do not need to purchase any additional items. Just took it out of the box and ready to assemble. Heat dissipation from the 240mm metal heatsink is handled by a pair of roller bearing fans. The turntables are able to adjust the rotation speed (between 500 and 2000 rpm)..., allowing the user to find the optimal balance between cooling efficiency and noise level. All in all, MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R is capable of efficient and near-silent cooling of an Intel Core i9 caliber processor with up to 240W heat dissipation. Modders, case owners with a viewing window, and anyone who likes backlighting will appreciate the fact that the fan blades are equipped with built-in RGB LEDs, the glow of which can be synchronized with other computer components.

Model overview based on user reviews
The MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R water cooling system has received mixed reviews from users. While some appreciate its attractive design and RGB lighting, many have reported significant issues with its performance and durability. Users have experienced problems such as corrosion between the aluminum radiator and copper base plate, leading to clogging and reduced cooling efficiency. The pump is often described as noisy and prone to cracking, with some users noting that it fails after a few months of use. Despite initial good performance, temperatures tend to rise significantly over time, causing concerns about overheating. Overall, while the cooler is visually appealing, its reliability and quality have been questioned, with many users suggesting alternatives for better performance and longevity.

Absolutely do not recommend! Unless you don’t mind wasting money.

Horrific model, this product turned out to be massively defective! I returned the computer under warranty, and it turned out that the service shelves were all filled with these water coolers... Everything creaks, to the point that it might completely fail.
At the time of purchase - price and attractive appearance
The quality of the product could have led to a widespread recall campaign, as all the shelves in service centers are full! Six months in, the liquid cooler started cracking, up to the point of completely shutting down the computer. The cracking only intensified with heating. The cracking is also present at startup (after six months), my first thought was that something got into the cooler, but alas... It's inside the liquid cooling system, which can't be fixed, except to return it! Don't miss the warranty period.

Cringe, but with a discount from Telemart, changing the tower to AIO - kind of okay.

Complete garbage
Learned to upgrade and service liquid cooling systems (LCS), learned a new set of swear words.
Now, let's talk about it; the water cooler is complete trash. The radiator is aluminum, and the base plate is copper. These are metals that corrode each other, combined in a single water cooler from MSI. A good company can't be described with just 3 letters.

So, after 3 months of use, the liquid precipitated, forming flakes that clogged the heat exchanger. I'll attach all the photos. I successfully flushed the cooler, using 4 liters of distilled water in a closed loop with filters, then filled it with liquid from ekbw.

The first sign of the water cooler's demise is the rattling pump, which means it's already messy inside.

The only thing I liked was the pump design; simple as gauze underwear. Otherwise, the fans hum like a Boeing, and the rubber gasket of the drain screw leaks after the third unscrewing. Overall, get something from Arctic.

buy for refurbishment but if new at this price then better another model

i bought a used one on OLX for 1000 UAH with the symptom of a non-working pump, and I thought about adding an external pump. It turned out that the pump was working, but the coolant had separated and wasn't allowing the pump to function, resulting in crackling sounds. I completely disassembled it, cleaned the system with citric acid, reassembled it, and voilà, a new cooler for 1000 UAH. The temperature of the Ryzen 3700X did not exceed 60 degrees Celsius.
