Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool AK620 Black is a double-tower active cooler designed for processors, boasting a maximum TDP of 260 W. It features two 120 mm hydrodynamic fans that operate quietly, with a noise level of 28 dB. However, users have reported that it struggles to dissipate the claimed 260 Watts, especially with high TDP processors like the i7 14700kf, where temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees, necessitating undervolting. Installation can be challenging, and some users noted a design flaw with the fans, which can hum and resonate. Despite these issues, the cooler is praised for its complete set, including a long screwdriver, and its ability to handle medium to high loads quietly. It fits well with most RAM modules, although its height of 160 mm may cause slight case fitting issues. Overall, the Deepcool AK620 Black is a solid choice for those seeking effective cooling without excessive noise, but it may require additional fans for optimal performance.

Miraculous model!
7 May 2023
I took this cooling system for a new build based on an AMD Ryzen R5 7600X + MSI B650 Tomahawk + G.Skill TridentZ 5 Neo 32 GB (16x2). I hesitated for a long time because I had doubts about compatibility with the chosen RAM - now I can confidently say that there's enough space for the RAM to install the aforementioned modules without even raising the fan. As for the cooling itself, it easily handles the new CPU. And if you tweak the temperature limit in the BIOS a bit, you can achieve CPU temperatures around 75-80 degrees. Personally, I'm satisfied with the purchase and want to express my gratitude to the store ENKO for the quality product, fast delivery, and the specialist's advice, who recommended this cooling to me.
Complete set, 260 tdp, sum with more RAM
Although a height of 160 mm is stated, the side glass on the case sticks out a bit. In my opinion, this is because the cooler, under its considerable weight, has either sagged or deformed slightly, as this can be seen even with the naked eye. I made this conclusion based on the fact that it is the upper part of the cover that touches the side glass of the case, while the lower part does not.

Excellent aesthetic cooler. For processors with a maximum emission of 240 watts.

For beautiful home builds, without fanaticism and without RGBt.
It runs on one fan in the middle, with the second removed. It cools the i9 12900k with a PL limit of 220-230 W. In a cool Torrent case. A maximum of 95 degrees in short peaks during the OCCT stress test, averages 55 degrees while gaming.
There is a quiet soft hum at maximum RPM. The hum is transmitted from the blade flow to the radiator, which resonates since it lacks a second fan.
At PL 240 W, one fan cannot cope and hits 100°C.

This cooling system is suitable for processors with a lower thermal package than 14700.

When purchasing, I was guided by the fact that it should dissipate 260 Watts of heat. I bought this cooler for the 14700kf, which has a maximum TDP of 253 W. My initial impressions were mixed; it couldn't handle this i7, with maximum temperatures reaching 98-100 degrees, so I had to undervolt, which allowed me to reduce temperatures to 85 degrees. There was also an issue with very thick thermal paste, which couldn't be evenly spread on the processor surface with a card, so I had to slightly warm it with a regular hairdryer to make it more pliable, and then everything went smoothly. However, back then it was winter, with the room temperature at 17 degrees, and during gaming tasks, temperatures rarely exceeded 75 degrees. Now, as it has warmed up and the room is 25 degrees, in Cyberpunk the processor manages to heat up to 85, with occasional peaks hitting 90 degrees. Tests showed peaks of 95 degrees. Since the computer is freshly assembled, I initially suspected the case, so I tried playing with the side panel off and cooling with an additional fan. The temperatures didn't significantly decrease; there was no difference in the MSI Afterburner readings. Looking ahead to summer temperatures is rather disheartening. So in conclusion, the problem isn't with the case but that this cooling doesn't even dissipate 200 Watts of the 260 claimed. A minor drawback is some fan noise at high speeds, but for me, this is critical compared to overheating.
Works, decent thermal wear, price.
Does not dissipate the claimed 260 Watts of heat.

For hot processors

Deepcool AK620 is a double-tower supercooler, and this is the term used to call air coolers with a TDP of over 200 watts. In the case of the AK620, the heat sink is a little, a lot, 260 watts. That is, it is enough even for long-term PL2-turboing of the latest 12-generation Core i7 and Core i9 processors. At first, you need to separately request a mount for the LGA 1700 socket.

Heavyweight Champion

The cooler weighs almost one and a half kilograms, since the steel backplate reliably protects the motherboard from bending. There are six heat pipes, contact with the processor through an intermediary plate. Like any other dual-tower cooler, the AK620 covers at least the first RAM slot. Therefore, it is recommended to install RAM modules with low heatsinks or no heatsinks at all.

Hydrodynamic bearings

But you can do something smarter — install only one fan between the towers on the cooler. For a medium-hot processor, even half the blower is enough. Two complete turntables with speeds from 500 to 1850 rpm are built on a hydraulic bearing. And this is not a low-cost hydrostatic, but a premium hydrodynamic one.

Screwdriver as a gift

The noise level even at maximum speed does not exceed 28 dB, and the uptime is at least 50K hours. The Deepcool AK620 box comes with a Y-splitter for connecting two fans to one 4-pin motherboard connector, a long screwdriver for the screws hidden between the towers, and a tube of thermal paste.
