exemplary player

The model is the quintessence of an exemplary gaming smartphone. Judge for yourself, it has the strongest hardware components (an eight-core Snapdragon 865+ chipset and 12 GB of RAM “in the base”), as well as a fast AMOLED panel with a flexibly adjustable refresh rate. Several fps options are available to the user: 60 / 90 / 120 / 144 Hz. With such data, absolutely any game will run on top graphics settings.

Cooling system

Asus ROG Phone 3 does not detect throttling. All thanks to the advanced GameCool 3 cooling system, which includes a large evaporation chamber and a large heatsink for heat dissipation. In addition, the smartphone comes with an external cooler AeroActive Cooler 3. It not only reduces the temperature under load, but also solves the problem with the lack of an audio jack on board the device — wired headphones are connected to the third Rogophone via a 3.5 mm jack in an external turntable. The fan is powered by two additional USB-C connectors located on the left side of the device.

play space

To increase productivity in games and resource-intensive applications, the smartphone provides a special space "Mode X". The task manager in it allows you to control the amount of free RAM and various parameters that affect stability and performance. AirTrigger ultrasonic sensors on the right side of the device body are worthy of special honor to be mentioned. Areas respond to finger touches and swipes.

Solid pluses

You can praise a smartphone indefinitely. Here you have a full range of high-speed communications, and a very good triple camera (64 MP main image sensor, 13 MP ultra-wide, 5 MP macro module), and customizable RGB backlighting, and a powerful 6000 mAh battery with support for accelerated wired "refueling" 30W and 10W reverse wireless charging. The icing on the cake is the DTS:X front stereo speakers. You will only have to put up with the sickly size of the device and the lack of a memory expansion slot in its arsenal. In order not to experience a lack of free space, you can look at the version of the device with a 512 GB drive.
