A classic mountain bike with a lightweight alloy frame, suspension fork and disc brakes. The manufacturer is positioned as an affordable hardtail (mountain single suspension), designed for trips or cycling on dirt roads or trails. It has good cross-country ability, is able to move confidently over moderately rough terrain. It can also easily move on hard road surfaces, it is quite suitable for use in urban environments. The Ardis Kaliber 2.1 MTB 26 bike is based on a heat-strengthened aluminium alloy frame. Thanks to the use of such material, a minimum weight is achieved while maintaining the necessary rigidity and strength. The bike is equipped with 26-inch wheels with Alex MTB double-wall aluminium rims and CST MTB 26x2.1 tyres, providing confident grip on a variety of road surfaces. The...steering is damped using a simple SR Suntour XCT spring/elastomer suspension fork with 100mm of travel. It protects hands well from vibration and shock loads that inevitably arise when overcoming obstacles. The transmission of the bike, made on Quando hubs, high-quality Shimano components and a KMC Z51 chain, supports the use of 21 speeds. Artek mechanical disc brakes are responsible for speed control and quick stops. The total weight of the bike does not exceed 15.8 kg.
