Gaming monitors differ from conventional monitors in their higher refresh rate and faster response time. The AOC G2460PF is an advanced gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a GtG response time of just 1ms. The screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 has a diagonal of 24" and a resolution of 1920x1080. An 8-bit (6-bit with Frame Rate Control technology) TN-type matrix with W-LED backlight is responsible for displaying the image.

The pixel pitch is 0.277 mm, which allows you to form a clear and smooth image. The screen has a decent margin of brightness (maximum brightness is 350 cd/m2), a good static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and somewhat limited viewing angles: 160 degrees vertically and 170 horizontally. However, such restrictions do not cause discomfort for the user and become noticeable only if more than two people gather at the monitor.

The maximum response time according to the BWB scheme is 4 ms, which is much more than the claimed one. However, the delay is still so small that theoretically the matrix could work with a refresh rate of 200 Hz. In fact, the image moves very smoothly even at 144 Hz, and support for AMD FreeSync technology with video cards from this manufacturer completely eliminates frame tearing. The monitor is equipped with a functional stand that allows not only tilt adjustment, but also screen height adjustment, and also supports the Pivot function (turn to portrait orientation). VGA, DVI-D, Display Port and HDMI interfaces are provided for connection.
