Cables (video, audio, USB)150022

Transfer files between nearby Windows PCs with greater speed, plug-and-play ease, and point-to-point simplicity and security. The Plugable USB 2.0 Windows Transfer Cable works great for transferring f more→iles and folders when upgrading from an older Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, or XP computer to a newer one, or for transferring data between two folders on a ongoing basis. (Note: Programs will not be transferred. They must be re-installed from the original disk or downloaded file.)
Software The cable also includes a full license to Bravura's Easy Computer Sync software that can be found attached to the cable ($19.95 value). Created by one of the original developers of Windows Easy Transfer at Microsoft,…
The Plugable USB-C to USB-A 3.3ft (1M) cable (USBC-A1M) is the standard for professional-grade connectivity. But how important is a "professional grade" cord? More than you might think. Connecting two more→devices is only as efficient as the weakest link in the chain. A low-quality cable will severely limit compatibility, the flow of data, and power between the linked devices. Even something as simple as charging your phone can be slowed by a low-quality cable. That's where the USBC-A1M stands out from the crowd. The USBC-A1M is designed to bridge the gap between modern technology and legacy ports. This 3.3ft cable offers the length required for flexible setups. With transfer speeds up to 10Gbps …

The phone more→/tablet must negotiate how much power to pull, to do so by the original USB specification, devices are supposed to only draw 100mA at first and then they can then negotiate up to 500mA. This negotiation requires a PC that's attached and on. Unfortunately even at 500mA, charging most devices will take a very long time to charge.
For example, the iPhone and most other non-tablets will charge on a standard port this way but they can also charge faster (up to 1A) if the USB port sends a special, non-standard …
