"Smart" cleaner robotic type to maintain cleanliness in the premises of the housing stock. In comparison with the basic modification of the vacuum cleaner, the 1S model got hold of a visual positioning camera. It harmoniously complements the laser navigation system, which is located in a small turret on the "back" of the device. The LDS sensor in the aforementioned turret scans the environment in 360° and determines the location of the vacuum cleaner in the room.

Then Xiaomi MiJia Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1S draws a map of the abode in its “brain”, on the basis of which it models the position of all objects on it and builds optimal cleaning routes. In total, 12 sensors were put on the on-board armament of the model. For the movement of the vacuum cleaner, a pair of rubberized wheels with a large suspension travel to overcome obstacles in the manner of door sills and a small swivel wheel in front are responsible.

Between the main wheels is a rotating shaft-turbo brush. The garbage container of the robotic cleaner has a volume of 0.42 liters. Access to the dust collector compartment with a HEPA filter is through the top cover. Remote control of the vacuum cleaner is carried out through the Mi Home mobile application. It also displays data on the battery charge, as well as the time and area of cleaning. On a full battery tank, the vacuum cleaner can clean up to 2.5 hours in a row. When the battery is low, it goes to the charging base on its own.
