The update of the second generation of Xiaomi's “mixed” bezelless camera has significantly increased its muscles in terms of performance and acquired a trendy dual camera – not as a tribute to modern fashion trends, but for the sake of “pumping” the flagship’s photo capabilities. The increase in power was due to the installation of a top-end 8-core Snapdragon 845 in the “underhood space” of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s 128GB, in parallel with which 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 630 graphics are working hard.

With the screen of the gadget, Chinese engineers did not invent anything radically new, borrowing it from the classic "two" — the 5.99-inch display of the device is completely devoid of top and side frames, which is why the selfie camera lens (5 MP) was forced to move to the bottom. From the rear, the number of cameras has doubled compared to its predecessor — now you can find a tandem of modules with a resolution of 12 MP each: a Sony IMX363 with f/1.8 aperture and four-axis stabilization, as well as an auxiliary telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. The camera app has artificial intelligence that automatically recognizes the scene and slightly adjusts the settings for it. Other “goodies” on board the smartphone are represented by a fast UFS 2.1 flash drive, fast and wireless charging technologies, and the presence of an NFC chip.
