Compact and lightweight mid-range smartphone - one of the most weightless models in the class of modern mobile devices with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. The model is assembled in a dust- and moisture-proof polycarbonate case, armed with a smartphone OLED screen with a diagonal size of 6.1 inches. A signature feature of the display is a cinematic aspect ratio of 21:9, which is why the picture is displayed on the screen in an atypical resolution of 2520x1080 pixels.

The display does not contain any cutouts and is "under cover" of the tempered glass Gorilla Glass Victus. But the refresh rate of the screen is only 60 Hz. Powered by Sony Xperia 10 V 128GB/8GB, powered by Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with built-in 5G modem. For dessert, high-quality cameras are prepared in the model - a strong hobby of Sony smartphones in principle. The main camera of the device consists of a stabilized 48 MP main image sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide and 8 MP telephoto. The smartphone shoots self-portraits at an 8 MP front camera with a lens in the upper frame above the display. In addition, the model got hold of front stereo speakers, an NFC chip, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting wired headphones.

Why do smartphones start to slow down and what amount of RAM is now considered optimal?Let's explore the reasons for the slowdown and the optimal amount of RAM for smartphones
Video reviews

Sony is back

People who are not very often interested in the news of mobile gadgets may be slightly confused by the presence of Sony products in the tops of the best smartphones. The fact is that at the turn of the decade, things were not going well for the company, and only the most devoted Sony fans wore angular Xperia smartphones at the price of an iPhone. However, in recent years, the Japanese have returned to the game, releasing several interesting flagships, sub-flagships and strong mid-rangers. Released in May 2023, the Sony Xperia 10 V falls into the latter category.

Optimal middle class

This is a modern smartphone costing around 14,000 hryvnia with almost top-level equipment. It is equipped with an OLED screen with HDR support and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone supports fast charging, the camera is equipped with optical stabilization, and the body weighs only 159 grams and boasts IP68 water resistance. As for hardware, fast UFS 3.0 class memory is used as storage, and the Snapdragon 695 processor, although not top-level, will not be so easy to slow down.

IP68 waterproof and headphone jack

The phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance and also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, something you don't see often these days. Also worth noting is Sony's minimalistic interface, based on Android 13, with some additional features such as Side Sense for improved multitasking. Despite the standard 5000 mAh capacity, the battery unexpectedly surprised with its endurance, lasting almost 30 hours in web surfing mode and 16 hours in video mode. On the downside, the camera is worth noting: video shooting is clearly not the Sony Xperia 10 V's strong point, and the camera suffers from a lack of detail and exposure in low light conditions.
