In addition, the case is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard, but with a note that this standard does not protect against breakage during swimming and bath procedures. Realme Watch S connects to a smartphone using Bluetooth 5.0, after which it duplicates incoming calls, messages and notifications of mail and social networks, and can also control music playback and the camera. In terms of sports and health, the model supports 16 training modes, measures heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and monitors sleep quality at night. All collected data is displayed in the realme Link app. Finally, in terms of battery life, the performance is also not bad: a single charge of a 390 mAh battery should last up to 15 days.

The Realme brand does not yet have much experience in the production of wearable devices — the Watch S has become the second model in the company's range. The 1.3-inch display does not occupy the entire usable area — instead, the screen is framed by an imitation bezel. Frankly, this is a rather strange decision: this supposedly bezel is not responsible for control and does not protect the panel from damage, and most of the dials are not “friendly” with it. Rather, it was added simply as an element of decor, although this, of course, is a matter of taste. The second nuance was water protection, corresponding to the degree of IP68. Usually this indicator indicates the ability to swim without removing the watch from your wrist, but in this case you can only count on protection from splashes — for example, during rain or when washing your hands. The official website directly states that the IP68 standard does not protect against breakage during swimming and bath procedures.
More than two weeks without recharging
But the model deserves praise for battery life. A capacious 390 mAh battery is installed inside, one charge should last up to 15 days of operation. Of course, it all depends on the intensity of use, but, anyway, even with active training and constant monitoring of the state of health, the user will be able to forget about recharging for 10-12 days. A small platform in the form of a puck with magnets is used to replenish energy.

As for the possibilities, the watch has a standard set of functions by modern standards. When connected to a smartphone, incoming messages, calls and notifications from instant messengers and applications will be duplicated on the screen, but you will not be able to answer them. Also, using the gadget, you can find a lost phone and remotely control music playback and the camera. 16 sports modes are supported, and in addition to exercising, the device will count the number of steps taken and calories burned and remind you of the need to move. There is an alarm clock, a timer, a stopwatch and a weather forecast — in general, everything is as it should be.
In addition, the watch can measure the pulse and oxygen levels in the blood, as well as monitor sleep. By the way, the pulse oximeter works quite correctly and accurately, although still do not forget that any such gadget is not medical equipment at all, so all the data obtained are only advisory in nature. In general, the functionality of Realme Watch S is at a decent level (with an eye on the low price tag) and meets the needs of ordinary users.
