I got my parents 2 devices with 8/128 (not here), choosing between this and the Xiaomi Note 10 Pro (with Snapdragon 680) or the Samsung A23 (Snapdragon 680). I was doubtful about the Mediatek processor (G99). But after trying both for half an hour, I chose the Motorola. It's much more agile, noticeable even visually, possibly because it has a pure Android (longer support, updates earlier than others) and a 120Hz screen. I think it would be suitable not only for parents but also perfect for students. The interface works flawlessly, the Wi-Fi (ac) is stable, and the connection is strong. The battery is "long-lasting," and the charger has 30W. I'm surprised because I had almost forgotten about Motorola's existence, but this smartphone in this price range is indeed worthy of attention. Shvidky (do not slow down), Battery, Screen 120Hz, Obolonka pure android, atmospheric sound. Even if the sound is 100% twisted, the trochs are rattling, but the trochs are effectively and can be adjusted in the settings. |
Bought it as a gift for my father in late September 2023. g72 with 256 GB on board. Exactly 2 months later, the Android 13 update came to the phone. It installed and requested a reboot. After rebooting, it didn't turn on. Three days of correspondence with official Motorola support following their recommendations in such cases didn't lead to success. They provided coordinates for the official service center (MTI-service). Took it to them. 3 weeks later (December 22), I received a non-repairability report. On the same day, with this report, I went to the company where I purchased it. The money was refunded without questions. Many g72 turned into "bricks" after updating to Android 13, which arrived in late November. Motorola is aware of this. The issue is with this model. The phone is great, lightweight, convenient, fast. But this issue was a bit disappointing. Planning to order a g84. I recommend it, as they might fix the problem. But I won't go for the g72 again. Lightweight, fast, convenient Hardware problem with compatibility with Android 13 |
Moto G72 is a smart and productive smartphone within its price category. 6.55-inch P-OLED display with separate 2460 x 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness, making it very easy to navigate when you're on TV faces in sleepy weather. The camera is weak, clearly not the 108 MP stated. |
