Mercusys AC12 V2

One of the most affordable dual-band wireless routers (routers) of the AC1200 class with support for Wi-Fi 5 networks and MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transfer technology. It is positioned as a product of the base price category of 2021. Designed to organize a full-fledged wireless and cable network in a city apartment, house or small office (up to two PCs). To create an incoming connection to the provider's network, a Fast Ethernet WAN port with a bandwidth of up to 100 Mbps is provided.

As a hardware basis for the Mercusys AC12 V2 router, a combination of a productive chipset with a powerful radio module and four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi is used. This configuration provides impressively high peak (theoretical speed) wireless connections (867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band). It should be noted that the real speed of Internet connections will in any case be limited by the capabilities of the WAN port at the level of 100 Mbps. This model is able to provide comfortable surfing and participation in multi-user video conferences, easily cope with the routing of IPTV broadcasts, network gaming, cloud services and the load created by file-sharing network clients.
