One of the most affordable 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless routers supporting dual frequency Wi-Fi bands. The manufacturer is positioned as a low-cost device for creating a small local wireless and cable network. Designed for use in apartments/houses or compact office spaces. It has the most affordable price and good functionality that allows you to simultaneously serve several client cable and Wi-Fi devices.
The device is based on the MediaTek MT7628AN processor with a clock frequency of 580 MHz, equipped with 64 MB of RAM and 8 MB of flash memory. According to the manufacturer, in the 2.4 GHz band, the hardware configuration of the Mercusys AC12 router is capable of providing data transfer rates up to 300 Mbps, and when using the 5 GHz band, data exchange is accelerated to 867 Mbps.
Thanks to four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi, a decent coverage area is formed. In addition, one incoming and four outgoing cable connections that meet the Fast Ethernet standard (up to 100 Mbps) are supported. Such speeds are quite enough for watching high-quality streaming video, online games and other tasks that require low latency and medium bandwidth. The router is able to work in bridge / repeater mode, act as a firewall, NAT and DHCP server. Provides correct work with VPN traffic, reliable data encryption, parental control and filtering by IP and MAC addresses.

Everything's great! 1. Receives signals in all 3 rooms on all frequencies (provided the router is not in the center of the apartment, but hangs above the entrance) 2. This is the most convenient web interface I have ever seen! Setup in just a couple of clicks 3. Wall mounts (distance between holes is 15.5 cm) 4. Great model. Especially for its price. It might be too early to say, as I've been using the router for a couple of months, but there haven't been any failures or lags. a clear menu, especially for those setting it up for the first time, but full settings are also available. In the firmware, when you create a PPPoE connection while connected to the provider, there's a disconnect button for the internet, but there isn't a connect button. But these are minor details. Great router, I've been using it for a year and haven't noticed any major issues. Now I want to buy the same one for my girlfriend. :) Works well Through 3 walls on 5GHz, the speed drops by 50%, but I don't often hang out on the balcony, so it's fine for me.
