A cordless tool for fastening elements (screws, bolts, and wood screws) and drilling holes in various materials. The Makita DHP489Z screwdriver is equipped with a brushless motor with an electronic brake. The mechanical gearbox has two speeds (550/1800 RPM), as well as an impact mechanism. Therefore, besides drilling into wood (up to ⌀51 mm) and metal (up to ⌀13 mm), this tool can also make holes in brickwork (up to ⌀16 mm), necessary for mounting wall fixtures.
The quick-clamping chuck is designed to work with accessories that have shanks up to ⌀13 mm. Near the chuck, there is a clutch to adjust the tightening force (21 positions, maximum torque of 73 Nm). An LED is built into the tool body, providing excellent illumination of the working area. This model is sold without a battery or charger. Any battery from the Makita 18V LXT family can be used as a power source. The brushless motor and electronic brake ensure top-notch performance and longevity. Dual-speed gearbox and impact mechanism allow versatile drilling. Offers exceptional torque with 21 adjustable positions, perfect for precision work.
