The flagship from the well-known Chinese manufacturer of audio and video equipment Le Eco (LeTV) is an excellent combination of top performance and favorable cost.
Main advantages
The main advantages of Le Max 2 include a 21 megapixel front camera with support for 4K video recording and a Qualcomm 820 quad-core processor, showing 140K points in the Antutu performance test. The model also has support for an infrared port (a smartphone can be used as a remote control) and there is a new type of USB Type C connector that allows you to insert the cord plug in either direction.
Design and ergonomics
Le Max2 is available in a stylish all-metal finish in gold, pink or grey. The assembly is of high quality and pleases with the absence of backlash. Using the phablet with one hand is facilitated by a special menu adaptation mode that shifts to the bottom left or right of the screen, depending on which hand you hold the device in.
Firmware
Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. with an update to 6.0 Marshmallow under the eUI shell. Those who like pure android may not like it, although the eUI itself is not bad and quite colorful. But support for updates compared to other brands, it is frankly weak.
fingerprint scanner
On the back of the smartphone there is a fingerprint scanner with a fairly fast response. It is better to set it up for several touch options at once, and then there will be much more chances for its error-free operation.
Memory and performance
The combination of 4 GB of RAM and a powerful processor with a high clock speed helps the smartphone easily cope with multitasking and any games so that even at peak loads it hardly heats up. Video, including in 4K, is played without lags.
But the built-in memory is only 32 GB without the possibility of expansion. For those who are not enough, there is a model for 64, but it is significantly more expensive.
cameras
The video camera in Le Max 2 does not shoot very well, although it is equipped with a Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor with phase detection autofocus. The problem is the lack of video stabilization, which causes the image to shake in places. But the photos are gorgeous, even in the evening. The selfie camera is also impressive. Its resolution is 8 megapixels, and wide viewing angles allow you to make excellent grufs(panoramic group selfies).
battery life
With all the qualities of Le Max 2, the smartphone clearly lacks a more capacious battery, because the one that is available, at 3100 mAh, is barely enough for a day with an average intensity of use. Sweeten the pill, perhaps, fast charge mode.
In general, the model is very successful for its money and is guaranteed not to become obsolete for another two or even three years.
