A stately bike with French roots in the 2019 Lapierre Edge 227 pedigree is an all-around berry for riding hills and mountains, dirt paths and paved surfaces.

Lightweight frame

The basis for the construction of the bike is an aluminium frame made of the proprietary Supreme alloy, which is characterized by low weight and high strength characteristics. If the bike is registered on the official website of the manufacturer, the first owner is given a 5-year warranty on the frame. A bonus to it is a 2-year warranty period for the body kit(with the exception of "consumables").

Attachment

Attachments in the 2019 Lapierre Edge 227 assets are represented by a series of entry-class Shimano Altus items. At the head of the body kit is a 27-speed transmission with a rear derailleur using Shadow technology — it is located directly under the bottom bracket and does not protrude beyond it to avoid damage when the miner rolls over on its side. Also at the rider's disposal are unpretentious hydraulic brakes and a shock-absorbing front fork with a travel blocking mechanism.
