One of the older models of consumer SSDs from the Kingston UV500 M.2 line of M.2 devices, which includes drives with a SATA 3 interface with a capacity from 120 to 1.9 GB. The PCB dimensions follow the compact 2280 form factor. The drive has an impressive capacity (960 GB) and is compatible with a wide range of motherboard models equipped with M.2 Socket 3 (M key) connectors. It can be used as a system disk in home/office computers. Suitable for the role of a key element of the disk subsystem of entry-level / mid-level workstations. Gamers will also like the Kingston UV500 M.2 SUV500M8/960G SSD - quick loading of maps or imperceptible dynamic loading of parts of the open game world will not leave indifferent most gamers. As the hardware basis of the drive, a bundle of a four-channel Marvel...l 88SS1074-BSW2 NAND controller with high-quality 3D TLC NAND memory was used. In addition to the technology for high-speed caching of write operations to the SLC buffer, hardware LDPC error correction algorithms, SMART monitoring and NCQ, TRIM technologies are supported. Another advantage of the drive is an impressive 480 GB guaranteed write resource, which is equivalent to writing 130 GB of data daily for 10 years.

great model, I really liked it
22 March 2019
Good device, with decent speed capabilities, performance has really improved with it. Files do not disappear or get lost. It has been stable since the first days of purchase/installation. Not much memory, but the disk was taken specifically for the system. Quiet, for example.
The work is good
No problem

I do not recommend

I bought it, installed it - everything worked. Then about three months passed, everything went to hell and it stopped working, I don’t recommend it. Then I returned it under warranty, although the money was returned, now I’m sitting on the hard drive and choosing a new SSD
Faster than HDD
Unreliability

great model, I really liked it

Worth the money, the performance has increased significantly with it, now the OS loads in about 10 seconds, whereas it used to take 2 minutes sometimes. All programs run much faster. No data loss or anything else, the copying speed is pleasing, and it heats up slightly.

Not much memory, but that's logical.
