The American giant JBL offered its vision of active speaker systems for shopping centers. The EON 610 sounds in the best traditions of the brand, while it is distinguished by high ergonomics, wide mounting and control options.

Simple, stylish and reliable

The 56x32x30 cm column is made of impact-resistant polypropylene and weighs almost 12 kg. The design is equipped with two handles, legs and mounting on a rack and suspension. In addition, the speakers can be stacked on top of each other.

This time, JBL did not expand the colour gamut and settled on black. Compensates for this lack of a stylish case with rounded edges and a black metal grill that covers the entire front panel.

Maybe without wires

Acoustics supports Bluetooth connection of the control panel and devices based on Android or iOS. With their help, you can change the volume, control the 5-band equalizer, save and use user presets.

Hi-tech sound

A 10-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression tweeter are responsible for the sound component, operating in the range of 60 Hz — 20 kHz with a crossover frequency of 1.8 kHz and delivering a total peak power of up to 1000 watts. The proprietary Image Control Waveguide expands the sound coverage area to 110x60º, which is much more than most competitors. The built-in class D amplifier also improves performance in large halls. The equalizer deserves special attention, which has 4 presets: Main — Monitor — Speech — Subwoofer, which significantly change the nature of the sound.

Summing up, it is worth noting that JBL, as always, did their best, collecting their best practices in the EON 610. The combination of compactness and sound quality is perfectly complemented by modern technologies and creates a truly mobile high-end acoustics. However, and with the corresponding price — $550.
