ID-COOLING SE-226-XT Black
![]() | Outdated Product A fairly large tower cooling system designed for Intel and AMD computer processors, equipped with a massive heatsink and two fans on the sides. It is positioned as an affordable alternative to tower super coolers from renowned manufacturers. Moreover, in terms of performance, it can compete with inexpensive liquid cooling systems featuring one or two fans. The massive aluminum heatsink of the system is equipped with six copper heat pipes that efficiently conduct heat from the processor to the heatsink, ensuring excellent heat dissipation and supporting low temperatures even during manual overclocking. The cooling system provides not only excellent performance but also flexibility in settings thanks to the ability to adjust the fan rotation speed (note: 700–1800 rpm)..., allowing the user to configure the necessary level of cooling and noise. The included fans are equipped with hydrodynamic bearings, which reduce noise levels and increase the device's longevity. The height of the structure is a moderate 154 mm, meaning the cooler will fit most standard cases. The device comes with a convenient mounting system that supports a wide range of sockets, including Intel LGA 1200, LGA 115x, LGA 1700, and AMD AM4 with AM5. I really liked this cooler, replaced it instead of the so-called "Snowman" from China with 6 pipes, 2 fans 90mm, direct contact, 135W MAX TDP. Something was lacking there, this one is much more efficient. I installed it on an i5-9600K 4.6GHz, now it heats up 20 degrees less, I'm shocked :) I bought it for 1550 UAH. With such a MAX TPD (250W) at such a price, I didn't find any competitors. It doesn't interfere with the tall power system radiators and memory sticks. Efficiency, dimensions, ease of installation. Not found. |
so-so, expected more cheap does not pull 250 watts of heat dissipation, 9700x at 105 watts heats up to 90g |
Not a bad tower, neat, without too much lgbt, optimal for money and efficiency. But the fan is mediocre - it's not bad, but I replaced it after a week of use with Be quiet! Silent Wings 4 120mm PWM (FDB, 1600 RPM) has become much quieter under load, and at idle it now rotates not 800-900 (for some reason it was not possible to set it lower), but 300-400 revolutions by default. The passport TDP is overestimated, but if you don't chase the power of the processor, for example, how does it cope with my 14700F (TDP 65W) at fairly quiet speeds. For hotter things, it will already be a compromise between noise and efficiency. Price, accuracy, height 154mm, without extra lighting. The quality of the fan is mediocre. The upper decorative plastic cover is superfluous there, it is meant to be removed to improve the ventilation of the upper plates, but it sits firmly. |
