The HP Monitor is a 27-inch member of the OMEN gaming lineup that is sure to appeal to gaming enthusiasts in the first place. The model received a stand with a diamond-shaped base and the ability to adjust the position in height. And from the additional equipment chips, a USB hub with a fast charging function stands out (it will allow, for example, to quickly restore the battery capacity of a smartphone or other small gadgets). The HP OMEN 27 monitor is based on an 8-bit TN + film matrix with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, which provides decent detail (0.23 mm pixel size). It is also worth highlighting a good margin of brightness (350 nits) with not the most impressive static contrast ratio (1000: 1). The gaming functionality of the model is revealed by a fast response (1 ms from gra...y to gray), high “hertz” (165 Hz), designed to provide a smooth video sequence, as well as NVIDIA G-Sync technology. The task of the latter is to eliminate gaps and other image artifacts in dynamic scenes. Before buying, it is worth considering that the screen does not have the most impressive visibility: the brightness and other image parameters deteriorate significantly if you look at the display at a large angle.
