Beautiful lawn without effort
The robotic lawn mower of the German company Bosch presents a DIY line, which combines gardening equipment for the home. The manufacturer recommends using the model on an area of up to 3.5 acres with a maximum allowable slope of the site of 27% (15 °).
The cutting system of the Bosch Indego 350 consists of three articulated blades that provide a cutting width of 19 cm. The cutting height is adjusted synchronously for all wheels in the range of 30 – 50 mm: 3 settings are available. The cut grass is crushed and evenly distributed over the lawn in the form of mulch, that is, fertilizer.
Navigation system
The chip of the robot is the Logicut navigation system. Thanks to it, after laying the boundary wire (100 m included), which sets the boundaries of mowing, the lawn mower passes along the perimeter, stores the dimensions, shape and all existing obstacles in memory, and then builds the optimal movement algorithm. When moving, the Bosch Indego 350 follows a parallel mowing strategy and remembers the sections already covered.
Separate sensors of the model detect obstacles, excessive inclination, overturning and lifting of the device. Whenever triggered, the rotation of the blades is blocked for protection.
Manual and automatic tuning
A simple control system with a display is proposed for programming the robot. You can choose from different working scenarios: “mow now”, manually set the schedule by day and time, or use the automatic calendar AUTO Calendar Function. In the latter case, the Bosch Indego 350 will select the mode automatically, adjusting to the size of the existing lawn.
As an anti-theft protection, the lawn mower has a PIN code and a switchable chime. During operation, the model makes almost no noise by street standards (around 61 dB).
The robot is equipped with a 2.5 Ah battery. The operating time of the device is on average about 30 minutes, and the charging process takes one and a half times more time (45 minutes), which is a disadvantage of the lawn mower. If this is not a critical moment for you, then the Bosch Indego 350 is a good choice for keeping a small lawn in good condition.
