For the cladding, blank metal covers are used, which are equipped from the inside with sound-insulating and vibration-absorbing foam 10 mm thick. For ventilation, air intakes are provided on the front and top covers. The lower part is open; only a quick-release dust filter made of high-quality nylon mesh in a rigid plastic frame is installed at the bottom.

Computer case be quiet! Silent Base 601 received easily removable side covers. The sides use a convenient folding fastening. Each side has a special unlock button. The platform is equipped with two proprietary high-performance Pure Wings 2 fans. The 140 mm fans are connected via rheobass. The regulator has three speed modes.
