The Asus TUF Gaming F15 series of gaming laptops has been one of the most sought-after options in the affordable gaming laptop segment for many years. This is achieved through the annual update of components and functionality while maintaining the main features that are valuable to fans of the brand. For 2022, Asus engineers have updated the chassis and cooling system, and also refreshed the design, giving it a more sophisticated and modern look, reminiscent of models from the TUF Dash line. The laptop continues to meet the MIL-STD-810 military reliability standard.
Power and efficiency of Intel Core i5 11400H
The model is equipped with an Intel Core i5 11400H processor with 6 cores and the ability to automatically overclock to 4.5 GHz. Video performance is provided by the GeForce RTX 3050 with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM and 75W power consumption, supporting ray tracing and DLSS for enhanced gameplay. Despite the modest capabilities of the GPU for tracing, DLSS is capable of adding up to 3 – 5 FPS. The combination of processor, graphics card, 16 GB DDR4 RAM and 512 GB SSD guarantees high performance. Asus also provides the ability to upgrade RAM and install a second drive.
USB4 port and connectivity innovations
Asus continues to deliver quality entry-level gaming laptops with efficient cooling and modern technologies such as fast charging, DTS X Ultra sound, RGB lighting, USB4 with Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi 6. At the same time, the savings on components are small affected the quality of the screen.
