Graphene Alloy
The Apacer PE4430-R is made in the most compact format among M.2 SSDs — 2230, meaning the drive's length is only 3 cm. Despite the miniature size, this "little one" operates on the modern PCIe 4.0 bus and demonstrates impressive sequential read and write speeds — up to 5500 and 5200 MB/s respectively. The heat dissipation is handled by an ultra-thin graphene heatsink with a thickness of only 0.17 mm.
Triple-core ARM
Under the heatsink, there are only two chips: the Phison E27T controller with three ARM Cortex-R5 cores and a single 3D NAND flash memory chip. Therefore, the maximum capacity of the SSD is limited to 2 TB. There was no room for a separate DRAM cache, but the controller supports Host Memory Buffer technology, which allocates some of the computer's RAM for the drive's needs.
Portable Consoles
Another important performance indicator — the number of input-output operations per second — reaches 880 thousand IOPS.
