A universal monitor with an average screen size, for displaying an image on which an 8-bit MVA-type matrix is responsible. The visible part of the display is stretched diagonally by 23.6", the resolution of the picture displayed on it corresponds to the FullHD format (1920x1080 pixels). Low response time (5ms) along with wide viewing angles (within 178°) increase the attractiveness of the model in the eyes of gamers.
The AOC M2470SWH does not shine with a variety of connectors for connecting, however, analogue VGA and a pair of HDMI ports are quite enough to connect the model to a signal source. Two stereo speakers are embedded into the monitor case, and holes for a 100x100 mm VESA mount, which is used to hang the device on the wall, are also made in its back. With a desktop installation method, the monitor relies on a functional “leg” with support for adjusting screen positions. The power consumption of the model barely reaches 18 W, and in standby mode it drops to a negligible 0.37 W.
