A multi-purpose, energy-efficient monitor with Full HD resolution featuring a 23.8-inch screen with a matte anti-glare coating, a stylish thin-bezel design, high refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium technology support, and built-in stereo speakers. It is positioned as an affordable product in the mid-price range for 2023, aimed at solving a wide variety of tasks. With its low response time and refresh rate of up to 180 Hz, the Acer Nitro QG241YM3bmiipx monitor provides clear visualization of fast movements, which is crucial in most games. It also excels at handling text, spreadsheets, presentations, and beginner to intermediate-level vector and raster graphics. It can be used in CAD/CAE systems and is useful for processing audio/video content. The construction of...this model is based on an 8-bit IPS matrix (6-bit+FRC) with a resolution of 1920x1080 and W-LED backlighting. Flicker-Free technology suppresses the harmful PWM flicker for eyesight. This hardware platform provides average color coverage, standard static contrast of 1000:1, excellent viewing angles, and nominally supports HDR content playback. Among the undisputed advantages of this model are also its moderate price and high energy efficiency (average consumption not exceeding 18W).

normal monitor
8 December 2025
I've been using the Acer Nitro QG241YM3bmiipx for a while now, and I can say that it fully serves its purpose: an ordinary, affordable, yet fairly flexible monitor for work, movies, or games.

What I liked about games and dynamic scenes is the screen refresh rate, which is higher than standard, making the picture smoother without noticeable lags or "stuttering" during movement. This is noticeable when you switch from a simple 60 Hz to a higher rate, especially in games with fast camera movements or when watching videos with a dynamic plot.

I replaced the stand with a desk mount, which allowed me to position the monitor more flexibly in front of me. It's truly convenient, and I recommend such mounts to everyone. Up, down, towards or away from you, it really expands possibilities.

What feels like "economy class": the panel, although fast, is still budget-friendly. When the picture moves, the pixel grid is visible. But perhaps I'm just used to my old LG, which is slower but doesn't have this defect.

To quickly summarize: a normal, stable, simple monitor.
High frequency, IPS, convenient settings menu, speakers, several different connection connectors.
The display panel isn't the best, it lacks a bit of brightness, and the pixel grid (not sure what it's called exactly).
