Crystal: Version 3.0
The third model of the Crystal smartwatch from the Chinese manufacturer Zeblaze borrows the square design of the Apple Watch and looks approximately the same: a matte silicone strap, a moderately thin case made of glossy plastic, and a protective 2.5D glass on top of the watch, which surrounds the metal frame. The case is protected from moisture according to the IP67 standard, that is, you should not purposefully bathe them, but no one forbids washing your hands in them. The case turned out to be moderately light (only 27 grams), so you get used to them in a matter of minutes. Under the protective glass hides a 1.3-inch IPS display of medium quality. With resolution and a margin of brightness, everything is fine with him, but black colour often seems grey. But they did not save on the protective glass: it is strong, almost does not scratch and does not collect fingerprints.

The watch is controlled by the Android Wear operating system, which connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0. In this case, the watch can be used as an addition to a smartphone: view messages and receive information about incoming calls. If you are primarily interested in sports functions, then Zeblaze Crystal 3 is equipped with a fairly advanced set of sports sensors, which, in addition to the standard heart rate monitor, also includes a blood pressure monitor and a blood oxygen sensor. There is also a basic pedometer and sleep tracker. The sensors are surprisingly adequate, except that the heart rate monitor sometimes lies in the direction of increase. There are few sports applications, but they are well-made and localized as needed. There are no moving letters and herringbone fonts as in the first Crystal models.
Great alternative to a fitness tracker
Given the ridiculous price tag of around $40, it turns out to be quite an interesting watch, which we would consider first of all as a replacement for a simple fitness tracker. The branded application here is not very fancy, and we would not seriously rely on the indicators of the tonometer and oxygen sensor - they are buggy even in more expensive models, and why demand from a watch for the price of two mugs of latte at Starbucks?
