Bought this cooktop to replace an old gas stove. There were two reasons for this change. Firstly, the wife was categorically not satisfied with the clumsy gas oven and it was decided to replace it with an electric oven, and secondly, the shabby appearance of the old stove did not match the new kitchen furniture that we ordered. With this hob, our kitchen looks like a picture in a glossy magazine, but in addition to the luxurious appearance, it also showed itself very well in cooking. The dishes heat up perfectly. My wife and I had fears that the heating rate would be much lower than on gas, but they did not come true. Compared to a conventional gas burner, such a medium-power electric burner heats a liter of water to a boil for just a minute and a half longer. So there is a difference, but it is not significant. But what convenience! Touch control with display and step power control allows you to control the heating with just a couple of touches. There is a timer with an audible signal. There is protection from children, which is very important for our family, as two sons are growing up. The glass-ceramic surface is resistant to scratches and is easy to clean from everything that falls on it. You just need to do it on time, because if the fallen products are charred, and this happens very quickly in the working area, then it will be much more difficult to clean. Connecting it to the mains was not as easy as I thought I thought. It consumes up to 6.2 kW of electricity per hour, that is, the current reaches 27 amperes, so an input separate from the rest of the wiring was needed. When the near right burner is operating at full power, the touch control panel starts to warm up. |
