Model overview based on user reviews
The Volt Polska Sinus PRO 500E 500 VA is an interactive UPS designed for stable backup power, featuring a pure sine wave output suitable for sensitive electronics. It supports a load of up to 300 W and can handle power surges up to 500 W. Users appreciate its automatic switching to battery during power outages, although some have experienced issues with it not switching automatically, requiring manual intervention. The UPS is equipped with two sockets and an information screen, but it is noted for its noisy cooling fan and loud discharge alarm. While some users report reliability issues, such as the UPS failing to charge the battery after a short period, others find it effective for powering devices like gas boilers during outages. The product's quality may vary depending on the batch, indicating potential quality control issues. Despite these concerns, it remains a popular choice for those needing reliable backup power.

Purchased Sinus PRO 800E along with a 100 Ah AGM battery due to frequent power outages to power the gas boiler and other low-power devices in the apartment. It handles its tasks excellently, even supporting the refrigerator (albeit an inverter one) without any issues. The display is clearly legible and understandable. It is equipped with two 230 V sockets at the back. The only drawback is the noise from the cooling system. It's uncomfortable to be in the same room during battery charging or heavy discharge. However, it is understandable, as it was not designed for residential use. Besides the boiler, we use it to charge laptops, power a monitor or TV, and for lighting.

great model, love it
5 August 2023
I purchased this model along with a 100 amp-hour gel battery specifically to power a gas boiler during frequent power outages. It handled the task excellently. The boiler started up without any issues.
At times, the light is switched off, the wine automatically switches to the battery, while the boiler does not show any pardon. Forgetting that such surges in voltage (at the boiler’s front) are automatically switched on in the case of low voltage, or it’s dependent.
Trochy to make noise under the hour of cooling, prote wines to stand in my kitchen (by stripping off the gel battery itself) and wines do not matter.
Works, but often does not switch to battery automatically

In general, it is normal, it is convenient to use for 1.5 years, but with nuances
It works, mainly performs the main functions
The downsides are based on the experience of using these two UPS units in different systems, with the same issues occurring in both. One is a 800E, the other a 1000E:
- During 40% of power outages it does NOT automatically switch to the battery, requiring manual power off and on, only then it operates off the battery, meaning the UPS often acts more like a power interrruption device.
- Noisy cooling operation, though tolerable, and most importantly the discharge alarm is very loud, and the volume cannot be adjusted without disassembling.

Clean Energy

The Volt Polska Sinus PRO 800E UPS is equipped with a high-quality energy conversion system and provides a pure sine wave output. Thanks to this, the device is suitable not only for stabilizing the operation of PCs but also for powering sensitive equipment, such as audio equipment, medical devices, and heating system components (pumps and control electronics). The input voltage range of 170 – 270 V makes the model suitable for regions with unstable power grids. The nominal power of up to 500 W meets the needs of most household users. The main backup power source is a battery, however, it is not included in the package, despite the relatively high cost of the device. At the same time, this allows users to choose a battery with a higher capacity than the standard 7 – 9 Ah, thereby increasing autonomy. Connection is made through external interfaces without the need to disassemble the case. A handle is provided for convenient transportation.

Extensive Control Options

The manufacturer focused on informativeness and equipped the UPS with a large color display. It shows data on current load, operating mode and possible failures, battery charge level, and input and output voltage. A useful addition is the charging current switch on the rear panel. It allows you to choose between 5 A and 10 A, depending on the installed battery, to select the optimal charging speed. The safety system includes protection against short circuits, over-discharge and overcharge of the battery, overload, and overheating. An effective active cooling system is also provided, which activates only when the temperature rises above 45 °C.
