The camera can receive power from 12V DC sources or via PoE technology—directly from network equipment. It is recommended to install it on the ceiling. The casing is protected against dust and moisture to IP67 standards and is vandal resistant to IK10 certification. Thanks to this, the camera operates steadily throughout the year.
Clear Image
A 5-megapixel CMOS sensor is responsible for capturing detailed images. The maximum recording resolution reaches 2880×1620 pixels. Systems WDR+BLC are used to compensate for image overexposure. To reduce disk space usage, video is compressed using the H265+ codec. Recordings can be stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB or in local storage.
Onboard Systems
The TP-LINK VIGI C250 2.8 mm is equipped with a motion sensor, a microphone with a range of about 9 m, one IR diode, and an LED lamp to illuminate the scene. Among its smart features are the setup of interest zones for perimeter protection and the recognition of people and vehicles in the video, allowing for quicker identification of important events.
