Pros
Cons
I specifically purchased it for a system with an Intel Core i7, four hard drives in a RAID array, and two graphics cards with CrossFire. And there were no problems, everything works like clockwork, and there are often times when I don't turn it off for several days. I've always respected the company Thermaltake. Before this, I had a setup with their PSU, so now, when assembling a new and more powerful build, I chose this brand again. And I know I wasn't wrong. Very high-quality PSU! It feels good in your hands, and you immediately understand that you've bought something good and reliable. It's heavy, clearly not made of tin. Visually very attractive, not just a metal rectangle. The fan is large and spins quietly, even when the computer is under maximum load, you can't hear the power supply at all. I liked that the unit meets all the specifications stated in the manual, unlike some cheaper models—they say one thing, but in reality, it’s completely different. It has a sufficient number of cables, including those for connecting graphics cards. Plus, the packaging is very good, with everything neatly arranged, not just thrown in a box. It has 80 Plus Gold certification. I can only find fault with one thing - the cables are very stiff, it's hard to pull them through the case. I had to drill a couple of holes and secure them firmly with wire. But this is more of an advantage rather than a disadvantage. It's probably due to high manufacturing quality and good braiding. I read online that it doesn't have the best fan installed - it starts to make noise after a few months of use. I don't know, for me everything is fine after one and a half months. And even if it starts to make noise, it's not a problem to replace. use Thermaltake Toughpower Grand month or more |
It's worth it and delights with its performance. I got the 1050W Thermaltake Toughpower Grand (TPG-1050F) model and I'm currently happy with the purchase. Money well spent. If it burns out, I'll update the review) Quiet, stylish, compact. Quality internals and appearance. Not yet) |
