I bought this cooler as a pig in a poke, but it pleasantly surprised me. This company is known for its uneven contact surfaces with the processor lid, and there are defects among their coolers. My unit does not have such a problem (to be honest, I haven't had a cooler with an even better "foot"). Regarding the complexity of installing it on the motherboard with the processor, I can say that this procedure is not difficult; you will spend at most an hour and a half, even if you're assembling a PC for the first time. Motherboard - ASRock AB350 Gaming ITX/ac, socket AM4. I can say the same about the brackets for mounting the fans. If the holes for threading these brackets mean nothing to you, then obviously nothing will work out, and there's no need to try doing it another way. You can see these holes in the picture; they pass through all the plates on the sides of the radiator. Ease of installation. If the mounting method of both the radiator and coolers seems poor to you, try out a Deepcool Lucifer V2 cooler, and your opinion will change for the better immediately :) Despite its size, the cooler doesn't block the first pci-e slot. I can't speak to the manufacturer's claim of 360 watts of heat dissipation, as I don't have power-hungry CPUs like the Intel Core i9 9900K or AMD FX 9590 on hand, and finding test results for this cooler online is nearly impossible. A special thanks to the company for the massive backplate. the price - well, it's kind of okay, seems worth the money... maybe... But what really blows your mind is its height... 171 millimeters in height according to the manufacturer's claims... JUST SO YOU UNDERSTAND, THIS THING IS TALLER THAN THE NOCTUA NH-D15!!! This won't fit into just any case. I also have to mention as a disadvantage the rubber mounts for the fan, or rather their uselessness, and also, though it's not a disadvantage, but a nitpick, the fan initially makes noise from the bushing, but this goes away after a few hours of operation. use Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power less than month |
Great model, has been working with the FX-8350 for 2 years, temperature not above 60. Considering an upgrade to AM4, I think I will buy the same one (the current one doesn't have mounts for the socket). Quiet, does not disturb the components. Due to its size, it will make you reconsider your choice of case. Plus, the fan mounting brackets are cheap and somewhat pathetic. The cooler itself is good. But I couldn't try it out and had to take it back because I spent the whole day trying to attach that damn fan to the radiator! Nothing came of it.
