The sound you don't expect

But even more impressive is not the volume, but the sound quality. This isn't the first Bluetooth speaker we've tested, and we're constantly amazed at just how loud and clear these little ones can play. The character of the SRS-XB31 is initially neutral, but you can turn it up with an equalizer in the proprietary Sony Music Centre application, or simply select one of the ready-made presets (Standard, Extra Bass and Live Sound). Moreover, these presets change not only the frequency characteristics, but the volume of the sound. For example, with Extra Bass, the speaker sounds powerful and tight, while in Live Sound, on the contrary, the sound opens up and fills the space.
24 hours battery life
Mobility and readiness to work in difficult conditions is confirmed by the fact that the battery holds up to 24 hours (without backlight) and can play the role of a Power bank, recharging a dead smartphone. The SRS-XB31 has built-in LEDs around the perimeter of the body that can flash to the beat of the music, simulating the flashing of a strobe light or the glow of a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. This is a rather nice addition to the speaker itself, which, moreover, does not really affect its final cost. By the way, the price here is at the same level as that of popular models from JBL.
