Classic gaming keyboards
At one time, BalckWidow became a living classic of gaming keyboards and spawned a whole bunch of variations (“elite” version, light, backlit, tournament, etc.). The formula for success here is quite simple: a classic shape, a flexible macro system, assembly like a tank (strong plastic, braided cable) and high-quality switches of our own production. And now, five years after the release, Razer has updated the “old lady”, slightly changing the design and adding RGB backlighting.
Designed for gaming "green" switches
The most important thing was not touched — the "green" switches that Razer developed as an alternative to the popular Cherry MX switches. They have a high response speed, soft key travel and a fairly loud click when triggered. Razer claims to have involved professional esports players in the development and, thanks to numerous tests, was able to optimize the actuation / reset points and reduce the distance of the keys to return to their original position.

A nice bonus is that despite being geared towards eSports, BalckWidow turned out to be very convenient for printing texts. I started writing and I don't want to stop. Sophisticated macro system
The main difference from the old version of BalckWidow is the upgraded functionality. First, as mentioned above, RGB backlighting with synchronization has been added. Secondly, to replace a separate block with five macros, Razer has introduced a pumped system of assignable keys. In fact, you can programme the desired key combination on any of the buttons, as well as scatter these combinations over 5 profiles for different games. Also added a new feature called HyperShift, which allows you to hang an additional secondary function on each button and switch between them by holding the HyperShift button. This is especially convenient for games in which the active control keys are scattered all over the keyboard.
