the advertised features work, but for me, sound and volume are more important than wireless gimmicks. Due to the reduced ear cups, the ears don't sit very comfortably. As for the sound, it's muffled and "boomy," the soundstage is narrow, the volume is lacking, and everything sounds unnatural, especially if you're used to decent wired solutions. Listening to music is tough. I think for this price, it's better to go for a wired combo — a DAC + good headphones, it's truly more interesting and the sound quality is significantly higher. Stable wireless connection with low latency, convenient for gaming Good microphone for voice communication and chat Convenient control buttons and volume wheel Decent positional audio in games — footsteps and directions are read normally The ear cups are smaller than previous versions — ears feel cramped, and discomfort quickly sets in. The sound is muffled and "boomy," especially with music. Lacks volume reserve. The soundstage is narrow, and the sound feels "compressed." The presentation of instruments is unnatural, especially noticeable after using normal wired headphones. More geared towards gaming than music. |
Headphones are interesting, but with surprises I have one problem with them: sometimes the sound in the headphones disappears. I mean, the dongle is visible in the system, the headphones maintain the connection (buttons transmit signals), the headphones' service sounds are also there, but the sound from the device doesn't play. Also, the gaming/chat separation works poorly, and even with the sound balance enabled, one of the channels can completely mute. So I tried it once and then stopped using it. If you have several sound sources (for example, opened two videos on YouTube), then during rewind, the thx audio process significantly loads the processor, and this is with virtual 7.1 turned off. But abandoning proprietary software is not an option either, as then the problem with sound dropout becomes more frequent. good passive noise cancellation, excellent microphone, communication range problems with sound and software, fit worse on the head than HyperX |
