Titanium coating and floating plates
The straightener has extended (100 mm) plates to capture more hair at a time and reduce styling time. They are titanium-coated, which should be distinguished by high strength and wear resistance, but the manufacturer himself admits in the instructions that the coating may wear off over time, although this will not affect the work.
The plates are also called floating because of their design: they spring back if you press too hard to protect the hair from damage and breakage. This is complemented by an ionization system, with which the hair is not electrified, it becomes smooth and silky, as after a salon. But due to ionization, a slight crackle is heard — this is normal. The device can be used to straighten or curl, it handles with unruly and curly hair, does not leave creases, and smoothness is maintained for a long time, even if the humidity is high outside.
Rapid heating and temperature
The straightener heats up in just 10 seconds, which also saves time on styling. The temperature is adjustable from 140 to 230 degrees: low for thin, light and coloured hair and high for coarse and curly hair. The temperature is increased or decreased using a wheel on the inside of the case, and the numbers are displayed on a small display on top. Thus, you can choose the optimal mode for yourself, and the device will maintain a constant heating temperature so that the plates do not overheat and cool down. After 1 hour of operation, it automatically turns off, which is useful for people who constantly leave appliances turned on at home.
Case included
The kit comes with a thermally insulated case, but there is no lock. Therefore, it is better not to lose the case — otherwise the rectifier will have to be stored in the open. It also has a 2.5m swivel cord for comfortable use anywhere.
By the way, you can stumble upon negative reviews about this model: they say that cracks appear on the case that catch and pull out hair. But this is due to an early batch of stylers that were defective. In modern models, this slip is not present, and more complaints from users are not heard.
