Philips' 2022 debut is a low-end 24-inch monitor. It belongs to budget solutions for the home, suitable for undemanding tasks, and can also be considered as a model for everyday office work. Features include Flicker-Free backlighting to protect your eyes from fatigue, built-in 4W speakers that eliminate the need for a separate PC speaker system. The Philips 243V7QJABF monitor is based on an IPS-matrix with wide viewing angles, but modest contrast ratio (1000:1) and brightness (250 cd/m²).
The resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels on such a diagonal provides acceptable detail without a pronounced effect of image graininess (pixel size 0.28 ms). Special mention deserves increased to 75 Hz frame rate and a good response time (up to 4 ms from gray to gray). It is also worth highlighting the abundance of connection ports, including VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort v 1.2, mini-Jack input and output (3.5 mm).
